Job Overview

  • The Business Development Executive will focus on customer acquisition.
  • Prospect management is a main concern as the business development executive will garner and meet with potential clients.
  • Researches client business referrals, network, and web leads.
  • Provide prospective clients with all services offered.
  • Work with clients to provide support and solutions for their needs.
  • Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to close deals and increase revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities
  • Building business relationships with current and potential clients
  • Collaborating with sales to secure and retain clients
  • Developing customized targeted business strategies
  • Creating informative presentations; Presenting and delivering information to potential clients at client meetings.
  • Responding to client requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • Maintaining short- and long-term business development plans
  • Understanding client needs and offering solutions and support
  • Meeting or exceeding planned business goals.

Background Skills

  • Relevant work experience
  • Knowledge of online marketing, telemarketing and offline marketing
  • Thorough knowledge of the state
  • Minimum of B.Sc or HND

Personal Skills:

  • Comfortable making cold calls and talking to new people
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour
  • Able to multitask and prioritize
  • Creative problem solver who thrives when presented with a challenge
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
