We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Human Resource Manager (Fashion Oriented)

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • Invent new fashion and printing initiatives for outstanding and extraordinary performances
  • Develop new business relationships, generate and gain new business leads, opportunities and contacts and negotiate new lines of revenue
  • Lead the identification and development of improved recruitment and retention approaches
  • Oversee staff development
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Prepare HR documents, like employment contracts and new hire guides
  • Review company policies vis-à-vis best practice and propose revisions
  • Liaise with external partners, like e-commerce platforms, and ensure legal compliance
  • Create regular reports and presentations on HR metrics (e.g. turnover rates)
  • Staff welfare and counselling, solve conflicts
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues
  • Salary, compensation and benefits (comparison including research)
  • Maintain a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities etc.
  • Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide supplies by identifying needs and meeting the identified needs.
  • Purchase materials and supplies by obtaining requirements; negotiating price, quality, and delivery; approving invoices.
  • Check and sign off invoices, monitor expenses
  • Prepare monthly management reports

Requirements

  • Experience: 2 years minimum
  • Candidate must be an HR professional with:
    • In-depth understanding of HR principles, best practices and guiding statutory provisions
    • Strong conflict resolution skills
    • Strong managerial skills
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Proficient IT and Microsoft Office skills
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Highly creative, and must possess good sense of humor
    • Good and meaningful fashion ideas based on company’s strength and vision
    • Well-developed analytical skills
    • Ability to contribute to the creation of organizational goals, develop and implement HR policies in lie with those goals
    • Strong negotiation skills
    • Drive all client and employee engagement initiatives
  • Must have completed NYSC
  • Must be efficient in the use of Microsoft word
  • Work as part of the team to achieve overall goals, targets and objective of the company.
  • Maintain a diary of all business contacts and appointments for review by Management
  • Able to quickly build effective, customer relationships based on trust and ability to deliver fantastic profitable results
  • Must be a person who enjoys talking and meeting customers or prospective customers with an interest in building business relations
  • Accountable for all client letters of proposals, introduction, engagement letters, contracts, and any further documentation, following company’s procedures
  • Experience with HR software, like HRIS or HRMS
  • Must reside in Lagos
