Job Title: Technical Sales Manager (Carrier Chiller System)

Location:
Lagos

Reporting to: Managing Director

Reporting team: Chiller Technicians

Dotted Reporting: Project Manager, Site Manager & Supervisors

Detailed Responsibilities

  • Management of the Company’s operations, including sales, service, financial & Sales activity – managing tenders, meetings with customers, negotiations and closing
  • Tenders pricing and handling engineering issues
  • Business development projects, promotional equipment and career service
  • Financial management of the Company’s operations
  • Management of the service technician, operation and responsibility vis-à-vis the Company’s customers
  • Marketing activity for the promotion of a career with contractors, end customers and consultants

Requirement/Skills/Experience

  • Mechanical Engineering Degree (Master’s Degree – advantage)
  • Experience from a company that sells equipment to the industrial air conditioning market is necessary. Experience in sales – an advantage.
  • Experience in service of industrial air conditioning systems – an advantage
  • An advantage to companies in Nigeria, such as Mandilas

Personality:

  • Excellent interpersonal relations – vis-a-vis the foreign workers, the local authorities, the customers, the authorities. High-level salesperson
  • Excellent interpersonal communication, mobility and management, negotiation, flexibility, work ability and self-motivation.
  • Ability to conduct negotiations at a very high level – work / workers / suppliers
  • High level degree to work under pressure on an unfamiliar “neighborhood “

Interfaces:

  • Working with the main Company in marketing, sales, engineering, and liaison with international career bodies
  • Work with the Company in all matters related to finance, administration, contracts and legal matters
  • Contractors, end customers and consultants

KPIs:

  • Establishment and management of activities in Nigeria
  • Increase market share
